How to create your own cartoon style?

I’m pretty familiar with the anime/manga drawing style, but I need to expand my character drawing techniques. Where can I find free, online tutorials which explains the art of drawing characters in american toon style (and hopefuly one which helps on creating your own unique toon drawing style)?

Well, the best way is to mimic what other people have done and once you get the basic down, experiment with what works best for you.
